in this poem:
%26quot;The stark white ring-barked forests,
All tragic to the moon,
The sapphire-misted mountains,
The hot gold rush of noon.
Green tangle of the brushes,
Where lithe lianas coil,
And orchids deck the tree tops
And ferns the warm dark soil.%26quot;
where it says %26quot;sapphire-misted mountains%26quot;
would that be a metaphor?
Is this a metaphor?
no its not a metaphor its just imagery
Reply:Not really. If it said the mist among the mountains were as blue as the blues saphire, that would be a metaphore.
This is more of an allegory
